Happy Birthday!!!

This month has been full of Birthday's! Technically my suegra's birthday is in March (the 30th), but Linda's was on the 10th, mine on the 19th,and Richelle's (Jeremy's gal), is on the 18th(but she's in California at the moment). So Wheew! that's a whole lot of gifts and cards! Anyway this year we all got together and celebrated them at the same time. It was lots of fun especially now that the renovation at my suegra's house is complete, and the living room is twice as big! It looks beautiful!!! Thanks for all the wonderful gifts everyone!!! :)

Hello everyone!!! Here we are again writing about our adventourous little life...:) These are some pic's of the trip we took to Veracruz last week. It was Justin and I's first time to Veracruz (justin's first time even crossing the border), and it was quite a ride! Litteraly. Riding in the back of a 15 passanger van on the roads of Mexico aint too fun to say the least! But once we arrived it was great! We were a part of a Pastor's Conference down there, John translated and preached and I sang in the services, Justin was the socialite of the trip and we got very popular because of him! jeje :) We went to services every night and went site seeing only on the last day we were there but that was OK with me cause by that time I just wanted to come Home.Traveling with a 5 month old is hard. I tend to be a person of routine and when we can't be on a routine I go crazy!!! jaja Ok maybe not that bad but you know what I mean ;) For More great Pic's: Click HERE.

Hello everyone! This was us at an Astros game on April 6th! My little sister Roxxy is a huge baseball fan... we had promised to take her to a game for her 16th birthday, so we went to Houston for the weekend and had lots of fun at the game despite the cold front that came in out of nowhere!! We were pretty close to the action and took lots of pics!

We're back from a fun-filled weekend in California! We took off on thursday the 22nd (justin's 5 month anniversary!), and got back on Monday night. It was Justin's first Airplane ride and I was a little nervous about the whole thing, but thankfully he did so good on all 4 of the different plane rides(2 going and 2 comning back). In California we went to Aaron's graduation.He graduated with a degree in Audio Engineering and Drumming. We got to see many awesome sites but more importantly, got to spend quality time with family and friends...We also got to see Jeremy! He came down to visit us from Lancaster and spent an evening with my family (He and Aaron have been friends since 5th grade). He is doing real good, working hard and almost a College grad! Well, here are some of the pic's from our little adventure!

So... last night justin slept 9 hours it was wonderful! He's actually been doing that for the past week or so but only 7 to 8 hours. But last night, wow! Another neat thing was that when John went to the crib to pick him up for his first feeding he was on his back! (he always sleeps on his tummy) so that meant that he had rolled over all by himself, and he was as happy as can be looking up at his mobile,playing with his toes. We were so excited and of course tried to see him do it again (with no luck), nope he was'nt having it...so we relunctantly gave up trying to see the roll and picked him up and started our day. He will be 5 months in just 2 days and it has gone by so fast! I love being a MOM!!!!!

This past weekend (3/17/07) was Rally in the Valley a big event that is held once a year at the Camp. There were over a thousand people and more importantly 63 descisions for the Lord were made! It was a blessed day for sure.

These last few days we have been enjoying the RGV Livestock show. It's a neat event that's held once a year in March. We've gone twice already, the first time to just walk around and enjoy the rides, and just yesterday we went to the Rodeo!! It was soooo much fun! Here's a little cowboy that enjoyed himself very much. We got him the hat cause it was just too cute on him!!

This month has been a month of new discoveries for Justin! Here he is trying out the taste of cereal (which he did not like very much by the way). But, it was so much fun to see the look on his face and the reaction he had. A couple of weeks later we added carrots and he loved those, I guess because their kind of sweet. It' s so funny how feeding your baby a new food can be soooo exciting! Never in a million years did I think that feeding carrots to a 4 month old would absolutely make my day!!! :)

He's also started to suck on fingers but particularly his left thumb! It looks really cute but I don't want him to get into that habit. His mommy sucked her thumb till she was two, and so did some of his uncles, and my sister, so it does run in the family, but I know it's such a hassle to break them form this particular habit. I hope it's just something he's doing for fun and not for necesity!

Beach Bum already??? Justin Loved his first trip to South Padre Island. We went a couple of days ago with Jason and Linda and Jason Anthony. It was a blast!!! Justin experienced the feeling of sand on his feet, and ocean water run through his little toes. Then, he slept to the sound of the waves. It was relaxing for all of us. This was us at the Missions Conference in early February. I was dressed as someone form India. Justin was just dressed for the cold weather, and Daddy was dressed for leading the service :).

This was us Mendoza Ladies at our 2007 Missions Conference. We all had a good time "dressing" up. This year was the first time I had participated in the "dress up" part of it. My Suegra was from Holland(I think) :) and that mysterious lady is Linda from Arabia, Sarai was representing Panama, and I was from India.

The Happy family on Christmas day! It was such an amazing joy to finally have a Christmas with an addition to the family. This was John and I's 4th Christmas together and to have justin in our lives now made things a lot more interesting! :)

Hello everyone! This was Justin at 2 months old...it's been quite a while I know, but life was pretty hectic for us during the holidays and church stuff! At this point in time I don't think Justin would fit in that basket anymore! He's a growing Boy!

So I know we havent posted in a long time..but John finally taught me how to do this so now I will be posting all the time!! Here we were exactly one week before the baby was born...little did we know the big day would come 3 weeks early. My due date wasn't till Nov.14...We are so blessed and thankful for this precious gift. It is the most amazing thing that has ever happend in our lives!
